SpiceJet set to submit revival plan to government

In trouble budget airline SpiceJet would publish a resurgence plan to the government on Saturday on the reasons for a proposed investment of $200 thousand from beginning supporter Ajay Singh and US-based JP Morgan Chase, resources said on Saturday.

Tata-Singapore Airlines Carrier Vistara Gets Flying Permit

Vistara - a partnership between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines- on Monday obtained the Air Operator Permit (AOP) or permit to fly from aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). This opens up the way for cheap air tickets air travel - where Tata Sons keeps a 51 % share while the staying 49 % is with Singapore Airlines - to begin functions in India.
Vistara will be the third full service airline after state-run Air Indian and Jet Air passage.
"The AOP is an important landmark as it is the ultimate step in a very technological and complicated conformity process," the air travel said in a declaration.

Headquartered in New Delhi, Vistara will begin functions with its navy of Airbus A 320-200 airplane and will soon create a declaration on the begin of sales, routes and plans, it said.
Vistara currently has two rented Airbus A-320s in its navy and programs to induct three more by March next season.


                                
The air travel programs to link Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, Chandigarh, Srinagar, Jammu and Patna in the first season of its functions.

WestJet Flight Attendants Reject Tentative Agreement

57% flight attendants who voted did not give positive response to the proposed 5-year deal
On Monday, WestJet declared that 2,600 flight attendants have rejected a tentative agreement last month.






WestJet is a Canadian based low-cost carrier that offers air service to around 91 destinations in Canada, Europe, United States, Central America, Caribbean and Mexico. With more than 10,000 employees, it has now become the second-largest Canadian airline that provides cheapest flight ticket online.







On Monday, it was reported that the airline announced that 90 percent eligible flight attendants voted in favor of the agreement while 57 percent of them voted against the proposed five-year deal.
The doubtful agreement was passed to airline as well as WestJet Flight Attendant Association Board. Though flight attendants of WestJet are not unionized, yet represented by association of employees.
The airline announces that we are planning to arrange a meeting with association board in near future in order to concentrate on understanding specific concerns, complying the points drafted in the process of dispute resolution.

If we talk about Flight Attendant Association Board, it is a part of ProActive Communication Team employee association that represents approximately 9,500 non-management employees working with this Canadian this airline.
“He was badly disappointed by the voting and we are supposed to survey our members very soon and planning to retain them in New Year”, expressed Anthony Pascale, the chairman of the Flight Attendant Association Board.
